The 1972 Camaro Z/28. 1971 was technically the same, but the grill for 1971 had smaller holes in it. That was the major
difference between the two, but the car was pretty much a carry over from 71.

The 1980 camaro

This is a 1971 Z/28 Camaro.

My 1979 Camaro Sport Coupe.

Pretty sure this is a 1970 Camaro Z/28. Don't quote me on it tho. The split bumper front end was available from 1970
to 1973. In 1974, the front end was changed slightly, as well as the tail light designs.
Around 1977, OPEC hit the U.S. with a major oil embargo. The economy crashed as gas prices nearly tripled. If you wanted
to get really technical, we didn't climb out of that recession until the early 1990's. With this oil ebmargo going on, not
just camaros, but all cars in general became smogged down. Performance wasn't all out race worthy. In fact, in 1979, a typical
350 v-8 engine (RPO LM-1) only produced about 170hp, and about 240-260 ft. lbs. of torque.
